Party in the House

May 14, 2010

These are some earrings I've recently listed in my Etsy shop ~ perfect party jewelry IMHO

I’m still working out the details, but I’ve decided to try my hand at a few jewelry house parties … not a showcase or trunk show opportunity. Rather, I’m looking to hold a few very in-home casual beading classes. I think it could be a nice alternative to jewelry parties where you always end up buying more than you expect to … plus, I’m most excited about showing people how easy it is to create their own jewelry … maybe some other people will catch the fever and then we can have a support group.

In other news, I’m also excited that two new bead shops are opening in my neck of the woods. Going to check out the one on 19th street (just down the road from my beloved Civic Theatre) this weekend and will report back soon.

Sounds like a great idea. I know that people would have fun attending a “make it party”, and you would do a fantastic job helping people create something wonderful to wear. Keep me posted.
